We killed another two meter long python which killed one of our chicken. Beautiful animal, but what can we do? It would come back as soon as it has digest the chicken. And frankly we are not keen on trying to catch it alive. The video above shows how powerful these animals actually are. The head is cut off already for 15 min. but the body is still moving.
We read an interesting article about the Everglades in Florida, where pythons are kept as pets and sometimes are set free or escape from captivity. The result is that they multiply enormously and preying now on anything from watch dogs, golf balls to alligators. Rabbits and raccoons are already nearly extinct.
We have to correct ourselves: The first snake which killed a big goat was actually longer than 5m and probably even over 7m long as the worker who killed it assured me. This is in line with the opinion of an expert, that a 5m long one cannot eat an adult goat. In Wikipedia one can rerad that the longest snake measured so far was one from the neighbouring islands at 6.95m. All villagers here are sure that there are much longer snakes around and we try to find one whioch beats the record.

We understood that there is actually no Friday prayer anymore because Darul Islam and a khalifah do not exist anymore! That is why at some places four rakaat dhuhur prayer are prayed after the Friday prayer because the Friday prayer is actually not valid! Still not sure what that means...
This (above) should be corrected as follows:
We understood that there is an opinion, particularly amongst the Indian Ulama (at the time of the abolition of the Khilafah in Istanbul) that there is no Shalat al-Jumu'ah anymore because Darul Islam and a Khalifah do not exist anymore! Hence the Indian 'Ulama advised that four Rak'aat dhuhur prayer are prayed after the Friday prayer because the Friday prayer is actually no longer valid!
