Introduction
The Medinah - Project aims for creating a Muslim village or small settlement, where Islamic lifestyle is practiced and propagated and the Sunnah of the Prophet s.a.w. followed as far as possible. It is a project under development with no clearly defined parameters yet and we seek Allah's help and guidance.
The project is located on Sulawesi, Indonesia.
The place should serve several purposes:
Life in an islamic and natural environment
Preparation for an expected global economic breakdown / war / affliction
Preparation for the coming of al-Mahdi (trying to create unity and an authentic jama'at as an example for the Ummah)
The challenge before the Ummah today is plain and clear. It is to attempt to repeat the original movement of the Ummah and, thus, to travel from Makkah to Madina once again. In doing so the Ummah will re-realize the establishment of Dar al-Islam...
